Fourth Chapter in Prahran is somewhat of a staple when it comes to brunching in Melbourne. After numerous visits over the years, an official review was well overdue.
Visiting on a weekday morning, the cafe was pumping. Side note – don’t be afraid to eat solo, I did, and secured a table right away!
Roast pumpkin – sesame kale, roasted almonds, avo, miso & house mayo (I added a couple of poached eggs too).
Oh my, this dish was heavenly. The roast pumpkin was as good as my mothers (which is saying something!), and the texture of almonds, avo and gooey poached eggs was utterly delicious!
The energy of the cafe was fantastic – the staff were fun and outgoing, and its apparent they’re seasoned experts.
Fourth Chapter is definitely one of my favourites – the combination of great atmosphere, awesome staff, and mouthwatering food make it an absolute winner. Yes, it can get busy, but its certainly worth it.
If you haven’t been – go, and if you have – go again!
